Its funny how the Chiefs offense and defense is rated good but not great by the pundits this year. Yet the Chiefs simply win Super Bowls. It must mean these teams rated higher are poorly coached and of course those team maybe simply cannot play well under pressure. I hope people don't bet the grocery money on these teams.

@1:14:30 "I think the Jerry Rice award should be for the most outstanding NFL player"?? Whoever was WR1 in the dominant Bill Walsh tree 49ers offense with Montana & Young throwing them the ball in the pre-salary cap era was going to consistently put up 1,500 yard seasons. A Rice longevity award for best consistent veteran, maybe, but not the Brown award / Taylor award.

AZ will have an elite top 5-10 offense. Excellent stout young OL, Elite run game PFFs #1 rush offense/2023 n fringe elite Pro Bowl RB James Connor ranked 3rd via PFF 89.6 PFF Grade. Now u add thee best back in the draft elite 91.3PFF grade 6”1/216lb dual threat back with elite 6.71 3Cone n 4.38 40 RB Trey Benson who forced missed/broken tackle machine on 40%+ of his carry’s his .51 missed tackle per attempt best mark in 10YRs+ closest #2 is Bijan Robinsons.41. And they have one of the top change of pace RB/WRs in 5”11/210lb RB Michael Carter who AVGd 6.2YPC for AZ last yr n this yr he’ll have the luxury of fully grasping the offense n its concepts. And teams cannot stack the box with defenders to slow the run unless they want to get picked apart, and they have to remain cognizant of Kyler Murray his elite elusiveness n 4.33 speed on the ground. Their run game no doubt will boost the pass game esp deep pass n big time throw pass game giving them a filthy nasty P/A Pass/RPO pass game. Lastly you look at WR/TE rooms and AZ is loaded with play makers in the pass game with several players who could put up 1000+YDs. And you have a healthy Murray behind n a stout very good OL he has not just best offense since 2021 when he was playing at an MVP Level but best offense of his career to date. KM AVGd 271PYPG in 2021 which is 4600+YDs over 17GS. This year I think Murray is a favorite to win MVP throwing for 4,500+ YDs w/ a 70% comp% AVG 8.5YD/A 32-35TDs/8-10INTs 5-6TDs rushing with a 105QB passer rating in a All-Pro/Pro-Bowl season and MVP Favorite. Murray was in the MVP race in 2020/2021 then come 2022 AZ lost the entire starting offense to injuries by week 5 n Keims roster flaws were exposed n he was fired. Murray got hurt and in 2023 AZ tore the roster down and deciddd to compete lately rebuild under a new regime. Murray was coming off an injury into a new to him offense variant of the WCO and Murray between weeks 9-18 QBd the offense to a top 10 ranking n was one of the NFLs best QBs in DEC/JAN with a 108.3 passer rating over that period. AZs offense with Murray ranked top 10 across the board 1st rushing with 5.27YDs/A, 7th in passing despite not nearly as loaded at WR as they now are improving at TE to, 9th total yards/game 362 and a 3rd down conversion percentage of 41.8% ranking 10th. This year Murray now fully healthy more importantly fully comfortable understanding Petzings variant of west coast offense at a high level where now he can just play fast w/out thinking behind an excellent stout OL elite run game behind Connor, Benson n Carter and they’re loaded w/ playmakers between generational WR prospect n 6”4/215lb Marvin Harrison Jr easily should cross 1000K+YDs, Premier WR talent 6”2/215lb WR Michael Wilson an elite extremely polished route runner also easily should surpass 1K+YDs in YR2. 6”2/210lb Zay Jones is an excellent #2/#3, 5”8.5/205lb WR Greg Dortch is primed for a huge season this yr, 6”1/200 WR Chris Moore AVG 19.3YDs/A #1 in NFL. Rookie 6”2/210lb (4.41 40/40.5 vertical) Tej Palmer is balling out dramatically exceeding expectations n could be good yr1. At TE Arizona has one of best TE rooms in the NFL behind Elite Top5 TE 6”4 1/2 250lb Trey McBride is one of the top 5 best in NFL and easily in YR2 of this offense tops 1200+YDs. AZ drafted an Elite athlete who was thee most athletic draft in NFL 6”5/271lb (4.61/35in+ very) TE Tip Reiman who’s an elite run/pass blocking TE flat dominant blocking n he’s a very good receiver as QBs have a 122.5 passer rating targeting Reiman Illinois just runs the ball a lot n doesn’t throw to TEs much just like Iowa when Kittle was there. As the fastest n most athletic TE in the draft I think he needs up protection for the Cardinals YR1 as an elite pass/run blocker but AZ will utilize more two TE sets using McBride intermediate/deep w/his 4.51 speed and will use Reiman short and intermediate passes this year n once he gets the ball at 6”5/271 good luck getting him down as he’ll be a YAC BEAST!!! Reiman reminds a lot of a young Rob Gronkowski and with him on the roster AZ will utilize a lot more two tight ends sends utilizing MHJ/Wilson outside #1/#2 and at TE McBride/Reiman . Going into yr2 also set for a breakout season is converted WR to TE 6”4.5/250lb TE Elijah Higgins with 4.51 n 35in VERT he is a very good young WR and will only get better the more snaps he gets. He’s a clone of Jordan Reed before the injuries n after working with Murray n McBride all off season so long as he gets the snaps. Murray is primed for a career year and will have an excellent shot of winning MVP and fielding one of the most lethal high scoring offenses in the NFL back playing at an elite level again now that the roster is healthy n loaded again

One year of Stroud 8 games from Love & the perineal love no matter the interceptions or brain fart passes. I remember Robert M, 2018 draft, he was low on L.J & nothing has changed. I really don’t understand May’s takes at times. He has the Raiders projected to be one of the worst teams in the league while saying the Chargers who have an aging mediocre at best defense, no standout RB, no proven WRs, unproven TEs are superior to the Raiders who have 2 legitimate WRs, 2-1st round TEs, up and coming RB, and selected perhaps the best center in the draft. The Raiders defense is better than the Chargers. The Chargers have the clear advantage at QB (although he has plantar fasciitis), possibly HC, and perhaps a slightly better OL. And he has a lot to prove this year. But man...statistically one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL...62 sacks, probably evaded 20-25 more. Statistically one of the worst WR cores in the NFL. Love having Derrik on the show -- it's impossible to replace Nate Tice but Derrik is excellent in his own right and it's exciting to have someone consistent now that we can get to know! I do still feel like the listicle episodes *really* struggle with having two lists at the same time. I absolutely love the show, the quality could not be higher, and I also work as a producer on a (infinitely smaller) pod so I am generally in awe of / deeply jealous of how good the entire Athletic feed is from a production / content / schedule perspective. This team is probably creating the best football content on the internet period, to me. I do think it may just be better if there's either *1 list* that is prepped before the show that both the host and co-host agree on / pick at, or Robert's list is not revealed until the very end as a "segment recap" to compare and contrast. Honestly I walk away from all these episodes never really remembering "The Top 10 Offenses" because I mentally can't track having two different lists happen simultaneously, and I think the wonky way Chapters have to be written here a good canary in the coal mine for how confusing it can be. Love the show, excited about Derrik, and obviously Robert is the goat. Keep up the great work team!

I really think everyone is sleeping on the Eagles. I think they’re better than the Rams offense. Elite RB, Elite WR, Elite RT, underrated superstar QB, good rest of O line and great WR2 and TE( if Goedert can stay healthy) I also have no affiliation to the Eagles

I don’t think the issue is the talent. In fact it’s definitely not they have one of the best offensive groups in football. But their play calling last year was atrocious and it’s an unknown this year especially considering it’s a massive philosophy shift which could have a serious learning curve

@@nickmurray1780 yeah I think the end of last year was really rough for them but their offense was on fire to start the year and I think the addition of Kellen Moore and Saquon Barkley is more than enough to make up for the loss of Jason Kelce
